Annotation
The graduate has acquired basic knowledge of speech communication and language abilities in the norm and in pathology, such as speech production and perception, the acoustic properties of the speech signal and the principles of the phonological description of speech, as well as basic skills relating to the description and analysis of language material. The graduate has mastered the knowledge with connections to the field of clinical, medical, and non-medical diagnostic and therapeutic assistance to persons with verbal communication disorders. They are able to distinguish between the norm and the presence of speech pathology and to recognize deficiencies in linguistic production and perception. They can use stimulating and therapeutic procedures to develop assistance for children with speech and language disorders.
