Hi, everyone! My name is Sung-Wook Woo, and I am a freshman majoring in pharmacy in Hradec Králové. When I first came to Charles University from South Korea, I received a lot of help from a senior ambassador. I want to help new students and applicants as the seniors helped me, and I hope to encourage more international students to come to Charles University. Why did I choose Charles University?
One of the key reasons was the great curriculum and the university's high ranking in the world.
What do I like about my studies in Czechia/the Czech Republic?
The cost of living in the Czech Republic is affordable. I can focus on my studies without worrying about money. The fact that I can enjoy delicious beers and visit beautiful cities in Czechia at the weekends is also a great bonus.
Where do I see myself in five years from now?
All up in the air, trying to keep my options open! Rather than working as a pharmacist right away, I want to get a job at a global pharmaceutical company and gain a range of experience.
